Curious Kids takes young audiences and their families behind the scenes of the Stratford Festival. This year, our hosts are the young performers from the Festival's 2022 production of Richard III. They take us through Archives, Props and Armoury and Technical Design to unveil the magic that happens off-stage.

Episode One: Bram Explores the Archives
Ages 6-13
Bram's grandfather and uncle were child performers at the Stratford Festival in the 1960s and '70s. Bram takes a trip to the Stratford Archives to learn more about his dramatic roots and the theatre's history! -
Episode Two: Ezra Explores Props and Armory
Ages 6-13
Ezra takes us to the Festival Theatre and introduces us to the Senior Props Builder, Dylan, who shows us props and weapons used on the stage and shares some inside information as to how they are built. -
Episode Three: Dominic Explores Technical Set Design
Ages 6-13
Come explore the fascinating "magical" elements of set design from the Stratford Festival's production of 1939. Dominic learns the importance of technical design from both a storytelling and cultural perspective.
